About Alphasecho

Who is Alphasecho — and what do we actually do?

We are a capital protection advisory based in Nakuru, Kenya. That phrase has a specific meaning — and a specific scope.

Small professional advisory team in a light-filled Nakuru office

A protection advisory is not a general financial planner.

Alphasecho was established in Nakuru in 2018 specifically to serve the capital protection needs of Kenyan individuals and businesses who had accumulated meaningful wealth but had no structured approach to defending it. Our work is deliberately narrow: we focus on risk identification, insurance-linked structuring, holding architecture, and the ongoing advisory discipline that keeps these arrangements fit for purpose as circumstances evolve. We do not manage investment portfolios, we do not offer stock-picking services, and we do not provide general financial planning. If accumulation and growth is your primary objective, there are excellent portfolio management firms better suited to that conversation. Our clients come to us when they've decided that protecting what they've built is the immediate priority — and when they want an adviser whose entire practice is organised around that single discipline.

Six years in Nakuru — what that experience looks like in practice.

Over six years of operation across Kenya, Alphasecho has worked with more than 90 clients, ranging from individual professionals with concentrated real estate holdings to family-owned agribusinesses navigating second-generation succession in the Rift Valley region. Our team brings together advisers with backgrounds in financial risk, insurance law, and corporate structuring — disciplines that rarely sit in the same room but must work together for capital protection to function properly. We hold structured peer reviews of every active client mandate quarterly, meaning no single adviser owns a relationship without oversight. Our process relies on written documentation at every stage: Risk Assessment Reports, Preservation Action Plans, structure diagrams reviewed by the client's legal team. We believe that a verbal recommendation is not a protection — a documented, co-ordinated framework is. We also operate within clear professional limits: we coordinate with legal and tax professionals but do not replace them, and we will always tell a prospective client clearly if their objectives fall outside what we can competently deliver.

“What I found different about Alphasecho is that they told me upfront what they wouldn't do. That honesty made it much easier to trust what they said they could do.”
